Verbs of liking + to-infinitives
If we want to follow the verb with another action, we must use a gerund or an infinitive.
1. Read the conversation and select to underline verbs that are followed by a gerund.
Look out!
The verbs love, like, hate, and prefer can be used with both gerunds and to-infinitives without much change in meaning.
She loves going out with her friends.
= She loves to go out with her friends.
